Arts at the heart from the very start in Wicklow!

And so in 2017, I’ll be taking my mantra of ‘arts at the heart from the very start’ into three different early years settings in my new home county.

Working with three other artists from different disciplines in a week-long residency in each setting, we’ll be exploring what it might mean for us to dialogue with the very fabric of the early years day – exploring arts as a strategy, as an environment, as a way of being rather than just an activity that happens at 2pm on a Tuesday!

We’ll be working in close creative consultation and dialogue with the children and staff in these diverse settings to find out what exactly that might look like, sound like, feel like.
