At the very beginning of September we’re heading over to Tanzmesse – a massive global dance marketplace event in Dusseldorf. Selected by the Tanzmesse panel from hundreds of applications to pitch SHIMMER (an epic dance show for babies aged 3-12 months), we’re very honoured to be part of the Dance Ireland delegation supported by Culture Ireland. Fingers crossed that this will be just the beginning of this trancey silvery dance adventure reaching tiny audience members beyond Irish shores…
SHIMMER was created in 2021 and toured nationally in co-production with The Civic and in partnership with The Network For Extraordinary Audiences funded by the Arts Council of Ireland.
SHIMMER was directed by Anna, choreographed by Hayley Earlam, score composed by David Goodall, design by Katie Davenport, video art by Conan McIvor, performed by Hayley alongside Jess Rowell and Anderson de Souza with Ashley Smyth as Production Manager with production photography by Neil Harrison.
