I Am Baba is a show about identity, agency and personhood.  For babies under 12 months old.

Created in 2017 as the International Early Childhood Arts Commission from the 4 Dublin Local Authorities through the Arts Council of Ireland’s Invitation to Collaboration Scheme, I AM BABA has toured all over Ireland, having played over 600 shows.

Touring has been in partnership with diverse partners including the Katharine Howard Foundation and the national network of CYPSC (Children & Young People’s Services Committees).

In June 2022, I AM BABA was invited to the WeeFestival in Toronto.

In autumn 2023, I AM BABA toured for 14 weeks to more than 1000 babies, visiting 20 counties in Ireland in partnership with theatre venues across the country and with the national network of CYPSC.  In addition the show was performed in individual bedside performances at 3 Dublin hospital venues in partnership with Children’s Health Ireland.
